Posted: August 10, 2017 |
Since launched on June 30, 2015, Apple Music have already attracted almost 20 million paid users in over 100 countries worldwide. For new subscribers, Apple Music offers everyone a three-month free trial period before the service becomes paid-only. This is why it can gain so many users in a short time.
It wins many praise indeed, but suffering from some complaints as well. Apple Music is different from iTunes because it a streaming service, which means you pay a flat fee to unlock access to Apple Music songs, but you don’t actually own the music you listen to. Therefore, Apple Inc. adds the DRM (Digital Rights Management) to Apple Music’s entire catalogue and encodes the songs with M4P audio format. However, M4P format is not compatible with many popular media devices such as Kindle Fire and Sony Walkman. That’s really frustrating! People always want to listen to music while running, do exercising or going a trip. What I needed is to play the Apple Music songs in my car while driving. Usually, the car audio system has support for Bluetooth or USB plugs for a flash drive with full of songs. But I can’t transfer the M4P songs to a USB port of a flash drive for playing.
If you want to get a solution for this problem like me, just enter the easy to use Apple Music Converter program. TuneFab Apple Music Converter can turn any tracks in M4P format into plain MP3 tracks or some other common audio format including M4A, FLAC, AIFF and MKA. At the same time, the DRM protection will be removed from Apple Music tracks. Then, you can transfer the plain audio tracks to your media devices for playing. I opted the Windows version and tried it before purchase. Though it’s not a perfect audio tool, but it can meet the demands of making the M4P songs DRM-free. One of amazing feature is that it can preserve the full ID3 tags in output files so you can still organize your songs well.
Below steps are my experience to use the TuneFab Apple Music Converter Step 1. Download, install and launch it Get the installation package from its official website and install it. Now you can see a simple interface and everything you need is shown. Additionally, your iTunes will be automatically launched with the open of TuneFab. Step 2. Choose the Songs You Need to Convert Now look at the left that shows the iTunes playlist. From here, you can choose the playlist which contains your Apple music tracks. On the right side, you can select the songs to convert. Tip: Apple Music tracks are “Purchased AAC audio file”. Step 3. Set Output Format The lower region shows the output parameters: I just chosen MP3 which is compatible with almost all my media device. Then, I specified my output folder and the name of the resultant file. Step 4. Start Apple Music Conversion Ready to convert? Find and click on “Convert” button on the top bar and this program will start to work. The conversion time is really fast so you can save a lot of time for this work. Finished! I have already made my Apple Music playlist playable in my car. If necessary, you can also download this program to copy and play Apple Music tracks on some non-supported devices. But, at the end, I would like to further highly encourage you not to use this method to share purchased Apple Music with friends and family.
